Vintage Report and winery news-
Biblia Hora.
We received this vintage news from Annegret Stamos of Biblia Hora.
"The harvest this
year was very involved. Because of the heavy rains and resulting rot we had to go
through the time-consuming process of cutting the effected grapes. On the positive
side, the low yields produced exceptional must. Our wines 2002 wines will be fruity
and full on the mouth.
This year we harvested our first Agiorgitiko. We believe it to be very, very good.
It will go in oak soon and be ready next year.
We have also vinified a new white, a Semillon. We are extraordinarlity pleased with
it." |
