Vintage Report 2002-Lyrarakis
We spoke to Sotiris Lyrarakis about his vintage. Heavy rains in Alagni meant
picking through bunches, a familiar refrain from many Greek winemakers this year.
This means estate grown fruit was of superior quality, though production will be
much lower. Lyrarakis has contracts with local growers for some of his production.
This year, no purchases whatever were made of grapes from these growers. |
