Confirming its long-standing reputation for leadership within the Greek wine industry and for extraordinary success in the international marketplace, Tsantali Vineyards and Wineries have achieved some outstanding results at the recent Mundus Vini 2002 in Germany. Tsantali Halkidiki 2000 was one of the five Greek wines to receive a Gold award! In addition to that, 6 of the 26 Greek Silver awards went to Tsantali, namely for:

1. Metoxi 1999
2. Tsantali Organics Cabernet Sauvignon 2000
3. Rapsani Epilegmenos 1997
4. Mount Athos Vineyards 1998
5. Tsantali Naousa Reserve 1996
6. Tsantali Nemea Reserve 1996

The contest runs under the auspices of the International Office for the Vine and the Wine (OIV), in collaboration with the Department of Wine Economics at Neustadt and the Federal Union of German Oenologists. 154 connoisseurs tasted 2,797 wines from 27 countries, making the competition fierce. Greece was represented by just under 80 wines, 50% of which received an award (higher than the 30% average).
