Greek wines in the media:
Sept. 12, 2003 USA Today article gives mainstream a taste of Greek wine

An article in USA Today brought many mainstream consumers their first exposure to Greek wine. Writer Jerry Shriver led made a contrast between the strides Greek wine has made in quality and Greece's preparedness for the 2004 Olympics. Aside from how we may all feel about that, the piece provided a brief capsule about the current state of affairs in Greece's wine industry, and an overview mentioning some key regions and varieties.

Importer members
Andrea Englisis of Athenee Importers and Konstantine Drougos of Amerikus were interviewd as was Paterno Imports CEO Anthony Terlato.

A number of wines were featured and briefly reviewed, including several wine from Boutari as well as:
Megapanos Savatiano, Techni Oinou Techni Alipias, Miliarakis Vilana, Gaia Thalassitis, Haggipavlu Agiorgitiko, Spiropoulos Red Stag, and Hatzimichalis Estate Cabernet.
