USA Today article
gives mainstream a taste of Greek wine
An article in USA Today brought many mainstream consumers their first exposure
to Greek wine. Writer Jerry Shriver led made a contrast between the strides Greek
wine has made in quality and Greece's preparedness for the 2004 Olympics. Aside from
how we may all feel about that, the piece provided a brief capsule about the current
state of affairs in Greece's wine industry, and an overview mentioning some key regions
and varieties.
